Gateway Church

Gateway Church’s Family and Social Outreach Ministry (FSOM) serves to inspire and inform through excellent service in order to transform and change lives in our community.  It is our intent to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of not only the members of the church but also members of our local community.  Our church is going beyond the four walls to ensure that we stay connected with the community so we can feel the pulse and know where help is needed.

There are many areas in which Gateway Church is involved in the community. Here is just a glimpse:

1. Gateway Christian Academy (GCA) is open to all elementary age students and provides excellent teaching from a Biblical world view.

2. Through Gateway Leadership and Ministry Institute (GLMI), which offers college and graduate level courses, we are able equip leaders to go out and serve the community.

3. We mentor youths, not only in the church, but also in Broward County Public Schools.

4. Gateway hosts an annual Thanksgiving “Turkey Giveaway” where we provide families with the turkey and all the dressings to make sure Thanksgiving is not a wish for the families in our immediate community.

5. Gateway participates annually in the Broward County Breast Cancer Walk as we recognize survivors in our church as well as the community.
